Delete your data
You can delete your entire Racket Social account or any individual piece of data at any time. This page walks through every option.

Delete your entire account
The simplest path is the dedicated deletion page at app.racketsocial.app/delete-account. Sign in with the same Google account or magic-link email you normally use, then tap Delete my account and confirm.
This permanently removes:
- Your account record (email, sign-in identity)
- Sessions and players you have synced to our servers
- Shared session links you created
- Per-session leaderboard ratings stored on our servers
If you cannot sign in any more (lost device, lost access to your Google account), email support@racketsocial.app from the address linked to your account and we will delete it for you.
Delete some data without closing your account
If you want to keep your account but clean up specific records, you have several options.
Delete a single session
- Open the app and go to the Sessions list (the home screen).
- Tap the menu on the session you want to remove.
- Choose Delete and confirm.
The session and its match history are removed from your device and from our servers if it was previously synced or shared.
Delete a single player
- Open the app and go to Players.
- Remove the player from the list.
The player record is deleted locally and on the server if it had been synced.
Delete all your sessions at once
- In the app, open Settings.
- Tap Delete All Sessions and confirm.
Your account, players, and preferences stay intact. All sessions and their match history are removed from this device and from our servers (for any sessions that had been synced).
Reset everything stored on this device
- In the app, open Settings.
- Tap Reset Data and confirm.
This wipes the app's local storage on this device — sessions, players, preferences. If you had synced data to the server, it remains there until you explicitly delete your account.
Stop analytics tracking
- Tap the analytics consent banner if it is visible, or open Settings → Analytics.
- Toggle analytics off.
Anonymised events that were already collected cannot be tied back to you and remain in aggregated form.
Export your data first
Before deleting, you can export everything to a JSON file you keep locally. In the app, open Settings → Export Data. The file contains your sessions, players, and preferences in a portable format.
What stays after deletion
Even after a full account deletion, the following may persist for a short period:
- Anonymised, aggregated analytics events — cannot be tied back to you and are not deleted on request.
- Server logs containing IP addresses — retained for up to 30 days for operational purposes, then automatically purged.
Demo accounts
Demo accounts (created via the demo@racketsocial.app sign-in) are automatically
deleted after 14 days. You can also delete a demo account at any time using the same
delete-account page.
